Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! St. James Catholic School has been educating the children of this and the surrounding community since 1878 in a tradition of tremendous faith formation and academic excellence. We are privileged to care for our students, who range from 18 months through eighth grade, in a safe and nurturing environment and to prepare them to be the future leaders of tomorrow.
Our faculty and staff are dedicated, talented, and highly professional. We are blessed that our teaching staff is so committed to the development of the whole child, not only assisting them with academic growth but also furthering their ethical and moral development and social interactions in partnership with their families, the primary educators.
Finally, the true center of our school is the community of St. James! Our parents, school organizations, and the entire parish are incredibly supportive and generous with their time, talents, and treasure. We thank Msgr. Dennis Darilek and Fr. Greg Nevlud for their guidance, leadership, and tremendous support. As I enter my fourth year as principal of St. James Catholic School, I am fully aware of how blessed I am to have this opportunity to work in partnership with this community to continue building on all of the traditions that make St. James such a special place for our families and their children. We are very happy to welcome each of you and hope that this 2016-2017 school year will be filled with love, learning, and a great deal of fellowship. Please contact me if you have any questions. We look forward to your visiting our exemplary school.
God bless you and Go, Cougars!
